Lori Long has a Master of Arts and Education in Counseling from the University of Akron.
She has 20+ years working in private practice, community mental health, corrections and chemical dependency. Lori utilizes cognitive behavioral therapies along with motivational and brief solution focused models and wants to work with the clients to develop a rapport and empower them to make the changes necessary for a happy, healthy productive lifestyle. Her expertise lies in working with adolescents and their families, couples counseling, chemical dependency counseling, medically assisted treatment, anger management, domestic violence issues and public speaking.
Lori has extensive experience working with women who have postpartum depression, as well as infertility and pregnancy loss. Her proudest accomplishment to date has to be the marriage to her husband David for the past 25+ years and her two daughters, Kaela and Mackenzie.
